Lead Telecom Design Engineer

Job Description

SaudConsult is seeking a highly experienced Lead Telecom Design Engineer to lead the design and coordination of telecom systems across multidisciplinary engineering projects. The role involves Designing and managing, ensuring quality deliverables, and interfacing with clients and contractors during all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design development for all telecom systems including structured cabling, LAN/WAN, CCTV, Access Control, PAGA, and Fibre Optic networks.

• Prepare conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering deliverables such as layouts, block diagrams, network architecture, and termination details.

• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco and international standards.

• Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, and Civil teams to integrate telecom systems into overall project designs.

• Support tendering activities, vendor evaluation, and technical clarifications.

• Ensure timely completion of deliverables with optimum quality and cost efficiency.

• Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and technical soundness.

• Participate in design review meetings and ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.

• Proven leadership in telecom design within multidisciplinary projects.

• Excellent understanding of telecom infrastructure in Oil & Gas and Industrial facilities.

• Strong ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure technical excellence.
