Job Description:
The Local Purchaser is responsible for handling all local purchasing activities within the Kingdom to ensure the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services at the best possible price and quality, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process and follow up on local purchase requests from various departments.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and requesters to verify material specifications and quality.
• Maintain and update the supplier database and purchase records.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing and quality control standards.
• Prepare regular purchasing reports and updates for the department head.

Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Secondary School, Diploma, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration

Male

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in local purchasing (preferably in industrial or project environments).
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of local suppliers, contracts, and purchasing procedures in Saudi Arabia.
• Valid Saudi driving license.
