Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer/Architect with extensive experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise-grade network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco ASR platforms, along with a strong background in routing, switching, security, and network automation. Certifications such as CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Design, implement, and optimize scalable and secure network architectures for enterprise and data
center environments.
Design and deploy LAN/WAN/WLAN solutions, including Cisco ASR routers (9K), Catalyst /
firewalls and VoIP integrations.
Develop high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) (More than 10000 users) solutions for critical network
infrastructure.
Lead network automation initiatives using tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform to improve
efficiency.
Develop High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level (LLD) design documents, including Visio diagrams, IP
schemas, and call-routing plans.
Lead Data Center and Security Operations Center (SOC) network design, including multi-tiered
architectures and BOM/BOQ preparation.
Implement VLANs, QoS, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and SD-WAN for enterprise and service provider
environments.
Troubleshoot complex BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN, and QoS issues.
Collaborate with security teams to enforce firewall policies, NAC, and Zero Trust architectures.
Conduct network performance analysis and recommend improvements for latency, bandwidth, and
reliability.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
Stay updated with emerging technologies (e.g., SDN, cloud networking, 5G, IoT).

Operational Excellence:

Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/Huawei/Juniper core devices (routers, switches) and protocols (STP,
SNMP, multicast, trunking).
Monitor network performance (SLA/KPI adherence), conduct capacity planning, and optimize resource
utilization.
Perform SAT, SIT, and E2E testing for new deployments and upgrades.
Enforce change management, disaster recovery policies, and security best practices (NAC, Zero Trust,
firewall policies).

Leadership & Collaboration:

Provide L2/L3 escalation support, mentor junior engineers, and liaise with vendors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead cost-optimization initiatives and bid proposals for competitive technical/commercial solutions

12+ years of hands-on experience in network design and deployment.
Expert-level knowledge of Cisco ASR routers (ASR 9K), Nexus switches, and IOS-XR/NX-OS.
Strong background in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, VPN, and multicast.
Experience with network security (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, NAC, Cisco ISE).
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible, Netmiko) is a plus.
Certifications preferred CCIE (Routing & Switching, Service Provider, or Enterprise), JNCIE, or
equivalent.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Certifications:

Cisco CCIE Preferred (Routing & Switching/Service Provider) or equivalent (JNCIE, AWS/Azure
Networking).
