Job Description
PDI Operations Management:
Oversee the end-to-end PDI process for machines arriving from the port to warehouse, Schedule maintenance during inventory of machine and final customer delivery.
Review inspection reports, rectify non-conformities, and ensure machines are fully prepared and documented for delivery.
Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, sales, and service departments to ensure on-time machine readiness.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and manage PDI and service staff including engineers, technicians, and cleaners.
Foster a positive and productive work environment through guidance, performance evaluation, and professional development.
Schedule and supervise day-to-day activities such as machine inspection, repair, cleaning, painting, and technical adjustments.
Ensure quality of service tasks such as routine maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Inventory & Equipment Management:
Track and control equipment inventory, including consumables, PDI tools, and spare parts.
Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure proper storage, organization, and security of machines and equipment.
Maintain and update PDI-related records in ERP systems such as Odoo.
Technical Expertise:
Apply hands-on knowledge of construction equipment, including cranes, concrete machinery, and hydraulic systems.
Conduct or oversee inspections involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Utilize diagnostic tools for engines, hydraulic pumps, and other components.
Provide expert guidance on technical problem-solving and support training of PDI engineer and other technicians.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all safety procedures are followed during loading/unloading, inspection, testing, and repair activities.
Promote a safety-first culture among the team, aligning with local regulations and company HSE policies.
Communication & Reporting:
Communicate clearly with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding machine readiness, technical issues, or delays.
Provide regular reporting on PDI progress, team performance, and equipment readiness.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
Male
Experience: Minimum 5+ years in construction machinery on hand experience, PDI, service, or equipment diagnostics: 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Technical Expertise: Strong background in mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic pumps, cranes, concrete machinery, and diesel engines.
ERP Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems e.g., Odoo, MS Excel/Word, and digital inspection tools.
Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Safety Awareness: Deep knowledge of safety regulations and equipment handling protocols.
