Procurement Engineer

Job Description

Supervise all material procurement works for area operations and projects equipment through project Store men.

Receive site material request; Float enquiries and invite suppliers to submit quotations; Submit lowest price and catalogue for the approval of the Project In-Charge; After approval and making comparative statement of prices; Get approval from Area Manager and process for Purchase Orders; Follow-up with suppliers for quality, lowest price and quick service; Make Supply Agreements for repeat items and consumables; Carry out all Company Procedure paper work filing etc; Control project material and site store material through site Storekeepers; Ensure compliance with the Company Procedures in procurement, handling and accounting of all materials, small tools and equipment under the area.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mechanical)

• The candidate shall be B.E. or B-Tech. in Mechanical with Minimum 08-10 Years’ Experience out of which minimum 5 years’ experience (Gulf specially in KSA

• Experience in modular skids / process equipment fabrication and assembly business for Oil & Gas industry.

• Hands on knowledge of relevant international codes / standards such as ISO, ASME, ASTM, DIN, BS.

• 10 years’ experience in GCC and 5 years in KSA with EPC companies dealing directly with ARAMCO.

• Hands on knowledge of Aramco standards.
