Project Director – Civil

Job Description

Spearhead the overall strategic direction and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
Provide decisive leadership and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to construction, commissioning, and handover.
Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment to achieve project objectives.
Oversee the development and management of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, financial, and contractual issues, to minimize potential disruptions.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
Review and approve project deliverables, including technical drawings, specifications, and progress reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Civil)

Any

Possesses a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 10 years in a project management leadership role.
Demonstrates extensive experience in the construction industry with a proven track record of successfully delivering major construction projects.
Displays exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams.
Demonstrates strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting capabilities.
Exhibits excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and vendors.
