Welding Inspector – Candidates Should have Aramco or Adnoc Approvals or working exp

B tech/Diploma Degree, Min 8+ Experience, 5 Years in Oil & GAS as QC inspector in EPC Companies on Contruction projects.

Job Description
Reports to Project Quality Manager and to perform inspection before , during & after welding activities.
Check the bevel preparation – root gap, bevel angle, root face & joint cleanliness
Verification of approval of procedure, welder, consumables & calibration certification
Verify Preheat & back purging requirements
Verify Size & type of electrodes used as per WPS.
Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma(Mechanical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mechanical)

Checking weather conditions, weld area to be covered properly & interpass temperature.
Carrying out visual inspection as per code & specification requirement.,
After completion of visual inspection of weld joint, offer for NDT and Monitoring & checking NDT requirements.
Check for PWHT & Hardness requirements as per service & code requirements
Identify repairs and ensure identified defects are repaired and re-NDT is performed & accepted.
Knowledge on code & specification requirement – ASME B31.3 /B31.4/ B31.8, ASME IX, ASME IIA/B/C & API 1104.
Raise RFI to client as per ITP requirement & co-ordinate for inspection.
Perform surveillance inspection and raise NCR if any non-conformity observed.
Prepare work procedure & ITP as per project specification & code requirement. Follow up with client for approval.
Potential issues are to identified and take corrective action immediately.
Aramco standards Knowledge
Preferable
Previous Saudi Aramco experience as QC Welding Inspector & Aramco-CBT EXAM-PID Welding passed record preferable.
