Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Safety Officer / HSE Officer to join our project team in Saudi Arabia. The candidate must be currently inside the Kingdom and have hands-on experience in industrial or construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on site.
Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks.
Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and project HSE requirements.
Prepare incident reports, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
Coordinate with site management to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
3 to 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer / HSE Officer.
NEBOSH IGC or IOSH certification (mandatory).
Experience in industrial / construction / oil & gas projects.
Candidate must be currently inside Saudi Arabia.
Transferable Iqama preferred.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Conduct thorough site inspections and audits, proactively identifying potential hazards and unsafe practices to prevent incidents before they occur.
Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and procedures, tailored to specific operational needs and regulatory requirements.
Investigate accidents and incidents meticulously, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Provide expert safety training and coaching to employees at all levels, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
Manage and maintain accurate safety records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Lead and facilitate safety committee meetings, promoting employee involvement and engagement in safety initiatives.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting regular inspections and training.
Respond to safety emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively, coordinating emergency response efforts and minimizing potential harm.

Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, providing a strong foundation in safety principles.
Holds relevant professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or NEBOSH, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
Exhibits a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing safety programs, resulting in reduced incident rates.
Possesses a strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.), ensuring compliance.
Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, effectively interacting with diverse stakeholders.
Exhibits proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
