Report to Business Development Executive
Purpose:
To develop Intergulf Transport’s footprint in the land freight industry and expand business within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our goal is to build a sustainable, profitable, consistent, and recurring business by maximizing driver productivity, increasing profitability, and delivering efficient service to all customers.
Key Responsibility Areas
Develop growth strategies focused on overall company expansion and client satisfaction.
Conduct financial feasibility studies and prepare proposals for new business opportunities.
Collaborate with Operations teams to implement business development initiatives.
Identify and create future opportunities by analyzing business trends within the sector.
Increase revenue by retaining existing customers and acquiring new clients.
Engage with prospects, manage processes from quotations to coordinating all necessary documentation.
Oversee shipments during the initial phase to demonstrate service reliability and build customer confidence.
Regularly visit existing customers to validate service levels and explore new revenue streams.
Ensure timely invoicing of customers and maintain accurate records via a tracking system.
Confirm payment receipts with the finance department and customers.
Follow up with customers on day-to-day business operations.
Optimize utilization of fleets and drivers for maximum efficiency.
Prepare daily and weekly operations plans.
Monitor all refrigerated (RT) shipments, ensuring adequate temperature levels to meet customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with the Batha Team to track unreported RT shipment trucks, verify valid registrations, and ensure shipment tracking compliance.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.

Competencies
Strong understanding of principles and methods for business development strategy and tactics.
Ability to identify complex problems, analyze related information, develop and evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
Thorough knowledge of operational processes and procedures.
In-depth understanding of road freight logistics, including associated costs and benefits.
Competence in estimating sizes, distances, quantities, time, costs, resources, and materials required to complete tasks.
Ability to instruct, guide, and supervise team members including drivers effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Education Graduate or Diploma in Operations/Supply chain management/Logistics management
Experience 3-5 years of relevant experience
