Job Description

Oversee the full accounting cycle for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Saudi Arabian GAAP and IFRS.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial statements and variance analysis, providing insightful commentary.
Manage and reconcile complex accounts, such as fixed assets, investments, and intercompany transactions, with meticulous attention to detail.
Prepare and file VAT, Zakat, and other tax returns, demonstrating proficiency in Saudi Arabian tax regulations.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address any audit findings effectively.
Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders, providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, proactively adapting accounting practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Indian

Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce, MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt, Chartered Accountant

Male

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
Possesses a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA), showcasing commitment to the profession.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience within Saudi Arabia, understanding local market intricacies.
Indian Nationality preferred
Prior experience within the construction/real estate industry, providing relevant industry-specific knowledge.
Fluent in both Arabic and English, enabling effective communication with stakeholders.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), demonstrating technical competency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and resolving complex accounting issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration and teamwork.
Demonstrates integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy, essential for financial roles.
