Senior Environmental Engineer – QHSE

Job Description

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from an internationally recognized University or equivalent.
Minimum of 12 years’ experience in environmental management functions and exposure on construction safety for major oil & gas projects of which at least last 5 years in similar Environmental Engineer senior position for projects in reputable oil & gas Companies or EPIC Contractors.
Familiar with HSE and Environmental regulatory regimes, international safety engineering codes and standards.
Experience in development of project HSE related plans, philosophies and specifications. Relevant skills in HSE Studies, Environmental assessments and Project HSE Risk Registers

Lead the implementation of Department specific HSE Management System, Environmental related procedures, guidelines, standards and policies in line with International requirements.
Ensure all project activities comply with local environmental regulations, international standards and project specific environmental requirements
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with environmental commitments
Monitor air, water, soil and noise pollution levels ans ensure adherence to applicable environmental limits.
Ensure proper management and disposal of waste, hazardous material and emissions in line with environmental policies.
