Site/Project Engineer

Job Description

The Site/Project Engineer will be responsible for supervising and executing large fit-out projects independently with minimal supervision from the Project Manager. The role involves overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning and tender management to completion and handover, ensuring technical quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

· Manage the complete lifecycle of fit-out projects, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, cost control, and project delivery.

· Take possession of project sites from the client and ensure timely and quality handover.

· Provide technical advice and supervision on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.

· Act as a key liaison with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors, resolving technical and contractual issues.

· Manage tender processes, including pre- and post-tender clarifications, inquiry document distribution, and proposal preparation.

· Oversee project operations through coordination of planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction phases.

· Monitor and report project progress, applying KPIs and analyzing performance to ensure on-time delivery.

· Identify and resolve engineering challenges during project execution, implementing corrective actions promptly.

· Maintain accurate records and prepare reports, drawings, plans, schedules, and specifications.

· Lead resource scheduling, vendor management, and overall site operations.

· Uphold quality assurance, cost efficiency, and safety standards across all workstreams.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering

Any

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

· Minimum 5-8 years of experience in fit-out projects, preferably in the Hospitality sector.

· Proven track record in Hospitality, Hotels, High End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education etc.

· Previous experience in professional fit-out contracting companies with in-house teams preferred.

· Strong technical and execution skills with the ability to analyze and solve complex engineering issues.

· Computer proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Projects, and MS Office Suite.
