Job Description
Plan and oversee the daily scheduling, routing, and dispatching of delivery vehicles.
Ensure on-time delivery of products to customers in line with service level agreements
Monitor vehicle performance, fuel usage, and distribution efficiency.
Supervise and guide drivers, dispatch teams, and distribution staff.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle registration, insurance, and inspection schedules.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes and reduce costs.
Maintain accurate records of distribution activities, deliveries, and incidents
Resolve customer complaints related to delivery delays, damages, or quality issues
Prepare regular reports on distribution performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Analyze fleet data and prepare reports on utilization, costs, and performance indicators.
Handle emergencies, breakdowns, and accidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of drivers and fleet staff, ensuring adherence to policies.
Coordinate with the procurement team for vehicle acquisitions, spare parts, and service contracts.
Analyze fleet data and prepare reports on utilization, costs, and performance indicators.
