Job Description

1. Greets and engages each Guest, suggestive sell to potential Guests

2. Escort customers to their tables.

3. Demonstrates Attentive, Cheerful and Timely (A.C.T.) standards for service.

4. Present menus to Customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.

5. Explain how various menu Items are prepared, describing Ingredients and cooking methods.

6. Inform customers of dally specials.

7. Take orders from customers for food or beverages.

8. Write customers food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff

9. Serve food or beverages to customers,

10. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

11. Demonstrates knowledge of products and service.

12. Uses Wow! Service to enhance the Guest’s experience and demonstrates a “clean-as-you-go” philosophy.

13. Follows procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and follows Company cash control and security policies.

14. Maintains safe and healthy workplace conditions for Guests and other Crew members.

15. Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, take them to kitchen for cleaning.

16. Clear and Clean tables or counters after Customers have finished their meals.

17. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales.

18. Collect payments from customers.

19. Provide guests with information about local areas, including giving directions.

20. Fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment, and napkin containers.

21. Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking.
