Job Description

Oversee the efficient organization and storage of vehicles in the warehouse, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy access for dispatch.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including scheduling deliveries and managing transport documentation to ensure timely arrivals.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track vehicle status and availability, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing stock levels.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols and compliance regulations to safeguard personnel and assets while maintaining a hazard-free environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Utilize technology and software for real-time tracking of vehicle movements, providing updates and reports to stakeholders as needed.
Conduct regular audits of the warehouse processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Train and mentor warehouse staff on standard operating procedures, safety practices, and efficient handling of vehicles.
Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers to negotiate rates and improve service quality.
Analyze logistics metrics and performance data to generate actionable insights and enhance operational efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred to ensure a solid understanding of industry principles.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in auto warehousing or logistics, demonstrating a proven track record in managing vehicle inventory effectively.
Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CLTD) will be an advantage, showcasing commitment to professional growth.
Familiarity with automotive industry standards and practices, enhancing the ability to navigate the specific challenges of this sector.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to streamline operations.
Strong analytical skills to assess logistics data and make informed decisions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with suppliers, customers, and team members.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.
A proactive problem-solver with a creative approach to overcoming logistical challenges and optimizing workflows.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, ensuring capacity to perform hands-on tasks within the warehouse environment.
