HSE Engineers – SARS Approved (Trakhees)

Job Description

• Promote safe work practices, proper use of equipment and substances, and compliance with PPE requirements, especially in hazardous conditions.
• Coordinate safety activities within assigned areas and analyze feedback from site management to identify accident and incident trends for corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions, sharing real case data and preventive measures.
• Compile and maintain accurate safety statistics; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for submission to site management.
• Monitor safety performance indicators such as accident frequency, near misses, and fatalities; identify patterns and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure work readiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure all employees and visitors receive proper safety induction before entering the site.
• Liaise with subcontractors and external agencies to ensure adherence to company safety standards.
• Advise on emergency procedures, first aid facilities, safety signage, PPE requirements, and incident reporting to relevant authorities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering, Bachelor of Science

Any

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical) SARS (Trakhees)approved Safety Advisor accreditation is mandatory.

NEBOSH IGC or equivalent internationally recognized safety certification (IOSH/OSHA).

05-12 years of relevant HSE experience in UAE building/construction projects.

Proven track record managing HSE on Highrise / Villa projects.
