Job Description
The SAP Technical Support expert is responsible for:
ABAP/FIORI Development: Performing development, programming, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules (S/4 HANA Environment). This includes technical analysis, designing, reviews, testing, and implementation of SAP developments and enhancements, ensuring compliance with existing standards and developing required data and reporting standards.
L1 Support: Providing Level 1 Support for SAP SD/MM Module.
Main Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise: Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions for the SAP S/4 HANA environment.
Project Planning: Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for the completion of build, system testing, and implementation phases of projects.
Requirement Transformation: Transform business function requirements into technical program specifications to code, test, and debug programs.
Testing: Develop, code, document, and execute unit tests, systems, integration, and acceptance tests, and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
Collaboration: Engage with other functional teams and business members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.
System Integration: Ensure integration system activities, including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability, and archiving), meet all SLAs.
Operational Support: Manage operational support, performing work during change windows, and providing on-call support as required by the team.
Performance Tuning: Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities.
Advisory Services: Provide advisory services on new and existing initiatives.
Form and Screen Design: Design forms and screens for SAP modules using tools such as SAP Script and Smart Forms.
Functional Integration: Interface with functional teams to ensure the proper integration of business processes and procedures with information technology and to identify customer solutions.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation.
Enhancements: Make corrections/additions to existing reports/forms and other enhancements.
Technical Analysis: Analyze technical-related SAP notes when required to implement.
FIORI Landscape Development: Develop the scope and technical architecture of the Nazih Group SAP FIORI landscape.
FIORI Apps: Enable, configure, and customize SAP FIORI Apps. Develop SAP FIORI Applications, customization, and configuration (is a plus).
Architecture Development: Develop an end-to-end architecture including system landscape, SAML integration, SSO, certs deployment, reverse proxy configurations, version control, and rollout strategy.
FIORI App Modification: Modify standard FIORI apps using the SAP WebIDE (local install, cloud access) / Eclipse IDE tools when required (is a plus).
Security Coordination: Work with security to assign security roles, catalogs, and groups in the Gateway server and SAP backend.
FIORI SPRO Tasks: Perform FIORI SPRO tasks to enable the FIORI apps (is a plus).
Testing and Training: Coordinate test IDs, create test scripts, help in creating training materials, cutover preparation, and go-live support.
Interface Monitoring: Monitor and optimize all SAP interfaces with other systems (LS, MAGENTO, iSELL, Smart-invoice, CRM, PDA, BARCODE PRI TER, etc.).
Desired Candidate Profile
Any Nationality
Bachelors in Computer Application(Computers), MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt(Information Technology)
Any
Experience: 4+ years of experience in ABAP development & reporting in SAP S/4 HANA environment, preferably in the trading/retail industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is required.
Technical Skills: Experience in WebDynPro, BSP, ALE-IDocs, Bdocs, BAPI’s, BDC, Adobe Forms, RFC’s, SmartForms, SAP Scripts. Experience in ABAP OOPS development. Excellent ABAP debugging skills. Knowledge of outbound/inbound ABAP interfaces using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs to/from Middleware and flat files is a plus.
FIORI Experience: Experience in Fiori is a plus.
Workflow Design: Experience in workflow design and support.
Upgrade Activities: Experience in upgrade and related SPAU / SPDD activities.
Documentation: Good documentation skills.
Certification: SAP ABAP certification is preferable.
Support Role: Experience in a support role.
Functional Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP functional modules is desired (mainly SD, MM, and FICO).
