Senior System Engineer

Job Description

Design, implement, and maintain secure and highly available IT infrastructure.
Administer and manage SAN Storage solutions (HPE, Dell, NetApp, unified storage solutions).
Conduct thorough system performance analysis and optimization, proactively identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting complex system issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Manage system backups and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
Monitor system health and performance metrics, utilizing analytics to drive improvements and inform strategic decisions.
Install, configure, and manage Windows and Linux-based environments.
Set up, deploy, and maintain Active Directory environments.
Configure and administer Exchange mail servers.
Implement and manage backup solutions (VEEAM).
Utilize virtualization technologies (VMWare or similar).
Work with Microsoft 365 to ensure seamless integration and management

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering, Bachelor of Science(Computers, Technology)

Any

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a System Administrator / System Engineer, preferably in a senior role.
Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
Expertise in SAN Storage administration.
Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Exchange mail servers, and backup solutions (VEEAM).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare or similar).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
Desirable:

Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, NetApp, HPE, or Dell certifications)
