Structural Engineer-Site Supervision

Job Description

Oversee and inspect structural construction activities to ensure compliance with approved design, drawings, and specifications.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify the quality of work and adherence to engineering best practices.
Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely completion of structural works and ensure works comply with UAE construction codes, industry standards, and safety regulations
Monitor contractor performance to ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines.
Report any non-conformance or deviations from approved plans and initiate corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and MEP teams, to facilitate smooth execution of structural works.
Review contractor’s shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to structural components.
Attend project meetings and provide technical inputs to ensure project timelines and quality standards are maintained.
Maintain clear and effective communication with all parties to resolve any conflicts and address site challenges.

Conduct quality checks, perform non-destructive testing, and address discrepancies. Maintain detailed site activity reports and proper documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Civil)

Male

Minimum 10+ years of experience in Engineering Consultancy.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulations.
Good command over Englis- Both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining accuracy, focus, and professionalism.
Capable of managing multiple tasks, meeting tight deadlines, and adapting to challenging situations with a solution-oriented mindset.
