Roles and Responsibilities
The Scaffolding and Formwork Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis and provision of technical expertise for scaffolding and formwork systems used in construction and industrial projects. The job involves ensuring the safety, efficiency and compliance of these systems with local regulations and international standards.
Main responsibilities:
1. Design and Analysis:
· Design scaffolding and formwork systems according to project requirements.
· Perform structural calculations to ensure the safety and stability of the design.
· Prepare detailed design drawings, designs and specifications for scaffolding and formwork systems.
· Coordinate with the project team to determine design specifications and material requirements.
2. Compliance and Safety:
· Ensure that all scaffolding and formwork systems meet local building codes, safety regulations and international standards.
· Stay up to date with the latest industry codes, practices and technological developments in scaffolding and formwork design.
· Identify and reduce any potential safety hazards associated with scaffolding and formwork systems.
3. Collaboration and communication:
· Work closely with construction and project management teams to deliver high quality designs and solutions.
· Providing training and support to workers on the safe use of scaffolding and formwork systems.
4. Documents and reports:
· Maintain accurate records of designs, calculations and approvals.
· Prepare regular progress reports, including any design modifications or challenges encountered during the implementation phase.
Required profile for candidates
Indian
Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Civil, Mechanical)

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing scaffolding and formwork within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of local and international design standards and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD structural design programs
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Minimum 5 years experience in scaffolding and formwork design
