About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee furniture manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have leadership, technical expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the production team, foster a positive work culture, and conduct training.
Supplier Management: Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and monitor performance.
Production Planning: Develop schedules, monitor workflows, and ensure quality control.
Technology Use: Utilize production management software for tracking and reporting, improve processes, and minimize wastage.
Operational Excellence: Optimize production efficiency, address challenges, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams and communicate production progress.
Soft Skills: Problem-solving, time management, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in furniture production.
Knowledge of furniture suppliers and market trends.
Proficiency in production management software.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality assurance is a plus.
