Senior Estimation Engineer

Job Description

Position: Estimation Engineer
Experience Required: 8-10 Years
Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on the project requirements.
• Perform cost estimation for fabrication projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate estimation.
• Analyze project requirements and develop competitive proposals.
• Work closely with clients to clarify specifications and scope of work.
• Maintain and update estimation records and databases.
• Provide technical insights during project discussions and bid evaluations.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in estimation within the steel fabrication or related industry.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical and fabrication drawings.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
• Experience in preparing BOQs and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, ERP systems).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
