Key Job Responsibilities
1. Tendering Process Management
Preparation of Tender Documents: Develop and compile detailed technical and commercial tender documents in accordance with project specifications.
Bid Analysis: Review incoming bids from vendors or subcontractors, ensuring compliance with technical and financial requirements.
Cost Estimation: Conduct cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment to ensure competitive pricing.
Vendor Prequalification: Evaluate potential suppliers or contractors for technical capabilities, quality standards, and reliability.
2. Contract Management
Drafting Contracts: Create and review contracts to ensure alignment with project goals, legal standards, and organizational policies.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, contractors, and suppliers to achieve favorable agreements.
Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations, project timelines, and budget constraints.
Contract Administration: Monitor and manage ongoing contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, and resolving any disputes.
3. Project Coordination
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, design teams, procurement, and finance departments to align contracts with project needs.
Schedule Management: Ensure that all contractual activities are performed within set deadlines and milestones.
Compliance Assurance: Verify that projects comply with local regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
4. Technical Support
Specification Development: Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for electrical systems and components.
Technical Clarifications: Provide clarifications and responses to queries during tender evaluations.
Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or performance.
5. Reporting and Documentation
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of contracts, tenders, and negotiation proceedings.
Progress Reporting: Prepare and present periodic reports on tender status, contract performance, and risk assessments.
Desired Candidate Profile
Any GCC National, Indian
Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical)
Male
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); a Master’s degree is advantageous.
Experience: Proven experience in tendering, contracting, or related fields, ideally within the construction, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of electrical design, project estimation tools, and industry standards.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess bids, evaluate costs, and mitigate risks.
Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and documentation skills.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in preparing tenders and contracts.
Knowledge of Legal Standards: Familiarity with contract law, procurement policies, and regulatory requirements.
Min 5+ Years of Experience in the same field
