We are seeking a creative and dynamic Textile Designer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in developing concepts for textile designs, from initial brainstorming through to final product execution. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of fabric types, patterns, and finishes, with a specific focus on Western wear clothing. The Textile Designer will be expected to work efficiently, learn quickly, and collaborate across teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and conceptualize unique textile designs for Western wear collections.
Create detailed design sketches, patterns, and color palettes that align with the brand’s vision.
Research and stay updated on fabric trends, material properties, and manufacturing processes to ensure design feasibility and quality.
Collaborate closely with product development, design, and production teams to ensure designs are executed to specification.
Assist in selecting appropriate fabrics and finishes for each collection, based on both aesthetic and functional considerations.
Manage the entire design process from concept development through to production, ensuring designs meet both creative and technical standards.
Maintain an organized library of fabric swatches, patterns, and design documents.
Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the production stage.
Stay ahead of industry trends and anticipate future fabric and textile innovations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in textile design for Western wear or similar categories, with a strong portfolio.
Knowledge of various fabric types, textures, and their applications in clothing production.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, or similar tools).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new techniques, tools, and industry trends.
Passion for fashion design and textile innovation with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience with fabric sourcing and understanding of global textile markets.
Knowledge of sustainable textile practices and eco-friendly fabric alternatives.
