Roles and Responsibilities

Main purpose of the role:

The Senior Piping Engineer (Offshore) can work within a core engineering team or a PMT project team environment. The Senior Piping Engineer (Offshore) will be responsible for the following tasks.

The Senior Piping Engineer (Offshore) will report to the Technical Core/FEED Manager, if working on the Technical Core Team, or to the Project Leader/Senior Project Engineer if working on the PMT Teams. The Senior Piping Engineer (Offshore) will coordinate with other specialty personnel on the Technical Core Team or PMT Teams as appropriate in his/her area.
The reporting interface to the customer will be via the Technical Core Manager/FEED for the Technical Core Team service, or via the Project Lead/Senior Project Engineer for the PMT service.
Knowledge/Experience (Skills):

Minimum twelve (12) years of experience; six (6) years of which in piping engineering for major offshore oil and gas projects.
At least several years of PMC experience in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and procedures/practices is beneficial.
Previous exposure to construction and operation phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to use all MS packages, especially Word and Excel well.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Piping Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering with special studies in Piping Engineering
