Job Responsibilities:
o Review shop drawings and all submittals related project documentations presented by the Consultant/Contractor against project specifications, local codes, and best practices in the industry
o Reviews approved designs competently to distinguish all the requirements for tests and inspections and ensure the safety in all operations at the jobsite
o Conduct façade inspections covering material and installation inspection at site as per approved Project documentation, Inspection & Test plans, and best practices in the industry
o Conduct inspections under the supervision of an approved inspector for installed fire resistive joint systems, perimeter fire barriers, and through penetrations
o Witness mock-up testing and carry out controlled dismantling inspection for performance mock-ups
o Conduct façade defect/failure investigation
o Coordination with all responsible stakeholders for inspection and investigation
o Conduct factory inspections to monitor and evaluate the applied fabrication methodology and workmanship for Façade assemblies as per approved Project documentation, Inspection & Test plans, and best practices in the industry
o Prepare inspection/testing/investigation method statement along with its corresponding inspection & test plans
o Check approved fire testing or certification evidence and project specifications for the specific inspections.
o Report all relevant information in accordance with the TBWIC Quality Management System and ISO/IEC 17020:2012

Technical skills:
o Exposure to Building Envelopes/ Firestopping engineering concepts and theories & knowledge of industry best practices and principles.
o Knowledge of façade and building materials
o Well-versed with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint softwares and familiar with AutoCAD.
o Sound knowledge of referenced local and international building codes and standards in the industry
o Façade repair and maintenance knowledge
o Use of inspection tools and technology

o Shall be physically fit as the inspection will involve climbing scaffolding or working at heights, requiring physical endurance and comfort in high spaces.

o Shall have good safety consciousness
