QC Civil Structural Engineer
Job Description
⊂Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with structural design specifications and project standards.
Review and approve material submissions, ensuring that all materials used meet the required quality standards.
Implement and maintain a rigorous quality control system, including documentation and reporting of non-conformance issues.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and execute quality assurance plans tailored to specific project needs.
Perform testing and evaluation of construction materials, including concrete, steel, and soil, to assess their performance characteristics.
Lead root cause analysis for quality-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Train and mentor junior QC staff on best practices and quality standards in civil structural engineering.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates on QC activities and address any quality concerns raised by stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local and international civil engineering codes and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain a comprehensive database of quality records, inspection reports, and test results for auditing purposes.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Civil)

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with a focus on structural engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control within the civil construction sector, preferably on large-scale projects.
Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent are highly desirable.
Proven track record of implementing quality management systems and processes in construction environments.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, such as ISO 9001 and ASTM, is essential.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and quality specifications.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals
